Annular Corrugated Flexible Metal Hoses
It is a tubing made flexible by forming convolutions so that it may conveniently bend while remaining liquid and gas tight, flexible main body thickness can be varied to achieve required flexibility hose assemblies are made from authentic steel corrugated hose tubing's complying with AISI 321, AISI 304, AISI 316 & 316 L standards

1. Standard pitch tubing with class B flexibility as per BS 6501. Common applications include fluid transfer for process industries, oil burners, misalignments.

2. Fine pitch hose (tubing) with maximum flexibility similar to class C flexibility of BS 6501. These are used for most arduous flexing and frequency movements, at high pressure as in oxygen lance hose for BOF vessels.

Stainless steel corrugated hose assemblies are available with single/double braiding and also without braid for low pressure or vacuum applications.

BRAID

Corrugated hose subjected to pressure tends to open axially. An external wire braid is provided to prevent this elongation. Wire braid also increase the hoop strength, stabilizes  movement and provides protective covering to the inner corrugated metal tubing.

Braid wire used are made of SS 304 & ss316 are available in different gauges to suit all range of applicable pressure ratings. The angle of lay and the number of stands are carefully selected to meet the various application requirements. The process of weaving the braid  wires ensures that the line pressure produces axial constraint on elongation of inner tubing. Multiple braided assemblies required to accommodated higher pressure are also available.

Stainless Steel Flexible Hose Assemblies
